The Peacock Tie back swimsuit is made with Carvico’s Melville fabric a blend of PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) and recycled Polyester. The recycled Polyester is obtained from plastic bottles, reducing the suits environmental impact.
The fabric is resistant to the effects of chlorine and UV rays which makes it a great choice for regular pool sessions. The fabric is soft to the touch and is quick drying when you get out of the pool due to its low water absorption properties.
In tests the fabric has been shown to last for over 200 hours in chlorinated pool water without the material degrading.
