The 2018 European Swimming Championships get under way in Glasgow on Friday, and we’ve put together an essential guide so that you don’t miss a minute of the action.

Europe’s best will be competing over seven days in the Tollcross International Swimming Centre, and our guide below will give you everything you need to know.

We have the full Glasgow 2018 swimming schedule, so you know the exact days and times for all qualifying heats, semi-finals and finals.

Our tv channel recommendations are based on the BBC’s current schedule but, as is regularly the case with a live multi-sport broadcast, these can change.
